University of South Florida-The Latino Scholarship Program

USF SCHOLARSHIPS & FELLOWSHIPS

We are happy to announce that the application for USF scholarships for the 2022-2023 award year is now open. By completing a questionnaire, you can see a list of scholarships you may qualify for based on your responses.

Scholarships can be based on academic merit, extracurricular activities (e.g., community service organizations, ROTC, Robotics, etc.), special talents, or demographics. Some scholarships consider financial need and will require that you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which is available now for the 2022-2023 award year.

After you submit your initial application, we encourage you to check periodically to see if any additional scholarships become available to you.

Please note: You must activate your USF NetID and email in order to login to the scholarship application and begin applying for scholarships.

The Latino Scholarship Program has a rich history with USF and is one of the many incredible opportunities offered by the USF Foundation!

The USF Latino Scholarship, designed to assist USF in increasing the number of USF students interested in issues affecting the Latino community and/or likely to give back to the Latino community after graduation, is open to incoming freshmen or junior level transfer students (in the 2022/23 academic year). Students must graduate from an accredited high school or community college in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Manatee, Pasco, Hernando, or Sarasota county. Strong consideration will be given to students who are fluent in Spanish and the first generation in their family to attend college.
